The kindergarteners at SACS always decorate up blown out eggs for Easter. Here are Nicholas' decorated eggs:
And here is what Tyler and Nicholas looked like trying to help Dad blow out the eggs. Mom didn't help as she knew it was going to be hard!

In late February Tyler had a hockey tournament in Winona. We had a good time with all the other teammates and families. After a couple of rough playing teams (saw a lot of checking and fists flying from the other teams - at this level the game is not supposed to have any checking!), our team came out with third place and were really excited. The kids enjoyed playing in the pool and we also had a pot luck taco bar with the rest of the team...the hotel wouldn't let us have a conference room so we made do - even with the manager walking up and down the aisle telling us we were a fire hazard and needed to go back to our rooms...I think 50 people in a hotel room would be an even bigger hazard!

Marisa was hanging out in the chair in our room and she looked so cute, I had to take a picture:
Marisa is so funny, when I get ready in the morning she likes to pretend she is getting ready also. Here she is putting her contacts in just like mom does. She puts her finger into the case after I do and she also needs me to put the cleaning solution on her hand also before she puts them "in her eye". Too cute:

After one of our bigger snowstorms, Tyler helped Dad with snow blowing out the driveway. He has fun using the snow blower and I know Dad appreciates the help. You can't see him, but Ron has the bigger blower in the neighbor's driveway. He helped out most of the neighbors after this particular storm:
Nicholas decided to take a bath in our bathtub one night and was so excited to turn the jets on and make bubbles! He really had a good time putting the bubbles on his face and in his hair!
I had intended to post this picture way back in February, but never got around to it.... Oh well, every day can be Valentine's Day!
Last weekend Tyler's team participated in the final tourney of the year. They lost their first game 2-1 but the refs missed the puck going into the net twice for our team so it should have been either a tie or a win on our side. They won their second game 4-2 and moved forward in the tourney in a wild card spot. Unfortunately they lost their next game so they are finished for the year. It was an extremely fun year for the boys and the parents as you couldn't have asked for a better group of people. Everyone got along and looked forward to freezing in an ice arena! Here's Tyler going out onto the ice before the first game (upper right - looking at the camera):
Tyler (#10) waiting for his next shift:
Here's Tyler's break away chance - we were so hoping he would score, but the goalie stopped his shot. As a defensive player he doesn't get a lot of scoring chances, but he has taken it to the net if he has a clean shot for the goal:
After the game, his team had their year end party at Brunswick Bowl in Lakeville. They got to eat pizza, bowl for an hour and hang out in the arcade. Marisa and Nicholas really enjoyed themselves also - and Marisa bowled for her first time!Looks like good pizza:
