A style all her own

Marisa has been so funny lately - when she's not copying something the boys are doing, she is coming up with some fun stuff all on her own. Yesterday when I got home from work she was watching Nicholas play a Diego game on the computer and kept saying "Puma" and he'd say no it's dinosaurs, to which she would just yell louder "PUMA!" It was pretty funny. I think we have a little girl who is going to know what she wants and be stubborn enough to get it!

Marisa came up with this look all on her own. It's amazing what you can do with a bunch of beads and an infant headband. Even though her shirt says she gets her "good looks from my mom," I think this one is all hers as I wouldn't look as cute in it!


One day she took the beads and paired them with the hat that Nicholas wore in the hospital. Too funny! I am not sure how she gets it on her head, but she has put it on more than once.

The following picture is one where she wasn't happy at the dinner table. I don't remember who said something, but she put her face in hers hands with this look like, I don't like it and you can't make me!

Today she was walking around the house and putting her hands up to her face and make "la la la" noises. She is growing so fast and saying so many more words - her longest sentence is still "We will rock you" - guess what song we play in the car! I am hoping that she starts putting other words together soon, and I think she will as she has really come a long way with her words.

Marisa is growing so fast, but it is really fun to see her come into her own. Especially when she stands up for herself against her older brothers. She is not going to take anything from them!
