We spent the last couple of weeks doing things with different members of our family. We spent some time at Grandma's visiting with Nancy and Grandma. We went to Alexander Ramsey park in Redwood falls, played at the park, and went to see Music in the Park in Seaforth. We visited with Tom, Kris and the kids at a cabin they had rented. We also went to the Science museum with Tara last week. All of these activities were fun and we can't wait to spend some more time with all of our loved ones. With school starting in under two weeks, the countdown has begun. The boys go to school tomorrow night to meet their teachers and find out who is in each of their classes. I think Nicholas is excited to start kindergarten and I know I am ready to have just Marisa at home.
Marisa going down the slide at the park by Grandma's house..love the static hair!

The steel drum band that we listened to at Music in the Park while at Grandma's house:
One of the boys favorite activities at Grandma's - Ping Pong Anyone?
The best way to go down the slide by Grandma's house - put as many little rocks on the end as you can and then go down so that you have to push them all off the end as you come down!
Couldn't resist sharing this picture of Marisa and Tyler. He has been real good about helping me watch her this summer - not always when he wants to, but this picture shows what a good big brother he is and how he loves to help her:
A favorite treat of all three kids- "Freezee's"
Tyler and Nicholas at the top of the waterfall in Alexander Ramsey Park in Redwood Falls:

The kids all smiling - hard to get most days!
Slip Slidin Fun at Grandma's house:
Ron, Nicholas, Tyler and Wyatt being pulled behind the boat at the cabin with Tom and Kris. Tyler absolutely had a blast being pulled on the various tubes. I think he would've stayed on all day if we had let him. Nicholas didn't want to stay on for long, but he did get on:

We forgot to take the camera to the science museum so the only pictures I have are ones that I took with my camera and they didn't turn out very well. The boys loved the different exhibits..among the favorites: The Buzz where you can pretend that you are a newscaster on TV, seeing a tornado come together, the wave box and the sneezing girl - sorry Tara- had to get you once! We also went into the Star Wars exhibit where the boys got to put together robots and see the costumes from the movies. Tyler thought they were all neat. Mom was wishing she had brought the camera so we could share the fun! Oops, maybe next time I will remember. The boys also liked the special effects movie in the Omnitheatre. Tyler especially liked to see how they take small models of things and blow them up to look real on the big screen. As you can see, we have had a couple of busy weeks, and hope to get a couple more fun things done in the next week before school starts.
