Update

Wow - can you believe it is October already? Where does the time go? We have been busy. Nicholas played soccer at the end of the summer and Tyler started hockey at the same time school started. We were able to spend some time at the camper as well so it was a fun end of the summer season. The boys started school and then both got sick. Tyler made it a week and a half and then had to stay home for a few days. Then, Ron got sick for a few days. About a week later it was Nicholas' turn and he had to stay home half a week. Marisa and I are the only ones to not get sick and we are hoping it stays that way! This week is MEA break and we are taking the kids to Green Bay and Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Just taking a road trip - don't really have a definite plan for what we are going to do, just some ideas of what we'd like to do!

Here are some of the pictures we have taken since my last update (sorry it was so long ago!) the pictures are in the reverse order because I didn't feel like taking the time to move them all around!

Marisa on the front step:
Marisa likes to put on these goggles and then play pretend - usually the drum stick is a "magic wand" but I think this day she was banging it and the hammer together and dancing around:
One morning, Marisa wanted to go outside so I let her out and then she started yelling "Mom"...when I looked out she was standing on a washcloth and wouldn't move because the grass was wet and she didn't want to step on it:
This summer we moved Marisa into a "big girl's bed" - here she is right after we moved out the crib and put the toddler bed together:
This fall, Tyler started Middle School at SACS (yikes - how can he be in sixth grade already?!)...here he is with the homeroom teacher, Mrs. Perrizo. He will have the same homeroom for sixth, seventh and eighth grade at SACS:
Nicholas and his first grade teacher - Mrs. Penner:
Nicholas on the first day of school:
Tyler on the first day of school:
Nicholas at soccer - he had a good time and was always in the thick of things by going after the ball when he was on the field. Unfortunately, not everyone on his team was as enthusiastic about getting the ball as he was:
He also loved to play goalie:
There's a quick update. I am hoping to no take as long for the next post!
