We spent the Fourth of July at the camper. This year we went down on Thursday evening and then watched the parade on Saturday and headed home after the parade so that we could pack to head up north to Brainerd. I forgot to take the camera to the parade so the only pictures I have are ones we took when we got back to the camper. This year it was raining during the parade, but our spot was under a tree so we were able to stay somewhat dry. The kids still got a bunch of candy so it was all good. Marisa watched most of the parade with her hands covering her ears as the sirens and horns were too loud for her. When we got home, we took the kids over to watch the fireworks at Valleyfair. They had fun sitting in the back of the pick-up eating snacks and watching the fireworks a couple of blocks away. Marisa wore a pair of noise earmuffs even though they weren't too loud, but she really liked the display, especially the "pink" ones.

Hope everyone enjoyed their holiday and God Bless America.
